How do I borrow ebooks?

An extensive and growing collection of ebooks are available on the Library Catalogue and via Perlego

Interest only students are not allowed access to electronic resources such as ebooks due to our licensing agreements. You can however access all publically online resource sites.

Yes! In addition to all the online resources available, distance students can access the print collection at our Auckland campus.

Library staff can send print books from our Main and Short Loan collections to your chosen address, and we will include a return courier bag for you to send them back to us. 

We can also scan single chapters or journal articles from the Auckland campus print collection. Please email libraryAuckland@laidlaw.ac.nz with any scanning requests.

Yes! We offer annual library subscriptions at our Henderson and Christchurch campuses, which allow you to borrow six print books at a time.  The cost for alumni is $80 per year, and the cost for members of the public is $160 per year. Please note that this subscription does not allow access to electronic resources, including ebooks.
