The Postgraduate Certificate in Theology (Ministry Supervision), ((PGCertTh(MinSup)), programme provides an advanced level theological qualification for those who have already completed a recognised Bachelor’s level or a Graduate Diploma qualification in Theology. This programme offers in-depth training in Ministry Supervision. Successful completion of the PGCertTh(MinSup) will assist graduates in meeting the supervisory needs of people in a range of ministries, as well as professionals in other helping vocations. The PGCertTh programme consists of two taught courses – Foundations of Ministry Supervision and Developing a Ministry Supervision Proactice. The two papers need to be completed in order, although not necessarily in the same year. The papers are taught via lecture blocks at Laidlaw’s Henderson campus, with course readings and assessments across the semester. In-person engagement in the lectures is essential for the Ministry Supervision courses.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Theology (Ministry Supervision) is a part-time programme comprised of two successive courses, each 30 credits at level 8. The two courses need to be completed in order, although not necessarily in the same year:

The Postgraduate Certificate in Theology (Ministry Supervision) must be completed within 2 years if taken part time. The opportunity to continue beyond these time limits will be considered on a case by case basis and with approval of the Academic Head.
