Laidlaw College doesn’t work in isolation — we partner with a network of colleges, church networks, mission agencies, and training organisations across Aotearoa to extend theological education and ministry formation into the places where it’s needed most.
Our Centre for Church Leadership exists to bless, love, and serve the wider Church across denominations, offering coaching, resourcing, and a growing support ecosystem for church leaders throughout Aotearoa. We partner with Te Wānanga Ihorangi, a whakapono-based te reo Māori language school in Henderson, dedicated to the reclamation and revitalisation of te reo Māori — a partnership that reflects our commitment to biculturalism and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Through 24-7 YouthWork, a nationwide network connecting churches and schools for over 25 years, we deliver the Certificate in Youth Development and Leadership, equipping youth workers to walk alongside young people with safe, trained, presence-based practice. Equippers College, the training arm of Equippers Churches, and Bishopdale College in Christchurch both partner with us to deliver accredited theology and ministry qualifications from certificate through to degree level, extending Laidlaw’s reach into church-based and regional training contexts.
We also work alongside the Salvation Army’s Booth College of Mission, supporting officer training and biblical studies for those preparing for ministry across Aotearoa, Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa.
Together, these partnerships allow Laidlaw to equip a wider range of leaders, in more contexts, for the vocations to which they are called.
