Laidlaw Centre for Church Leadership (CfCL) exists to bless, love, and serve the Church of Aotearoa New Zealand by equipping its leaders to flourish. As a kaupapa, we are committed to growing transformative, resilient leaders who discern the times and contexts they lead in, and equip their congregations to participate actively in God’s renewing work in the world.
We believe healthy leaders cultivate healthy churches, and that healthy churches carry the good news of the Gospel into an increasingly complex world. This conviction shapes everything we do: coaching that supports the wholistic development of leaders; resourcing that grounds church health and discipleship in local context and research; a supportive ecosystem connecting leaders across Aotearoa; and pastoral leadership pathways that form and multiply people prepared to serve the Church.
CfCL journeys alongside leaders individually and in community, because our best leadership always comes in the company of others — for the sake of the communities we serve, in and beyond the Church.
